Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards for 2008 are coming up on us quickly. On February 10, 2008 we'll all find out who gets the votes for the most popular music performers, groups, and composers.






The Grammy Awards are interesting to a lot of people and there is also an appeal to students of Spanish. Among all the different categories of music that will be voted upon, many of the categories of nominees have to do with Spanish Music and Latin Music.


There is a category for Best Latin Pop Album with these nominees:
  • Luis Miguel Navidades Luis Miguel
  • Miguel Bosé Papito
  • Jorge Drexler 12 Segundos De Oscuridad
  • Jennifer Peña Dicen Que El Tiempo
  • Alejandro Sanz El Tren De Los Momentos



Also, here are the nominees for the category called Best Latin Urban Album

Additionally, the category for Best Tropical Latin Album has these nominees:
