The Grammy Awards are coming up on us quickly. Soon we'll all find out who gets the votes for the most popular music performers, groups, and composers.

The Grammy Awards have been around since 1958. Among some of the more popular categories are song of the year, record of the year, album of the year, and best new artist.

Typical musical styles that are represented at the Grammy awards include jazz, country, rock, soul and classical.

There are also a lot of categories for Spanish artists. The Grammy Awards are interesting to a lot of people and there is also an appeal to students of Spanish. Why not have fun as you learn Spanish and listen to some good music in Spanish. Among all the different categories of music that will be voted upon, many of the categories of nominees have to do with Spanish Music and Latin Music.

There is a category for Best Latin Pop Album.

Additionally, there is the category for Best Tropical Latin Album. In among these Grammy categories you find groups who record in Spanish. This gives you a great opportunity to learn a lot of Spanish as you have fun listening to music you love.
