Spanish Phrases for the Regular Verbs Ending in AR

The Spanish language has regular verbs that have a common way of taking the different verb forms or conjugations. The ar ending verbs are one of the regular verb forms.

The key to being a good conjugator of verbs is to notice that each verb has a root or base, and an ending. In the first table below, the different verb endings are in bold text so you can clearly see the root or base and the ending. When you can recognize the endings used for each form of the different types of regular verbs you have the key to conjugating Spanish verbs.

Once you know how to recognize and conjugate the ar ending verbs you'll immediately know the key to being able to conjugate hundreds of common, everyday, popular Spanish verbs.

In the verb table above the verb endings have been highlighted so you can see and learn the correct verb endings. These bold verb endings are the same endings you'll find on all regular ar verbs. By knowing these verb endings you now know how to conjugate any regular verb that ends in the letters ar. Notice that the root or stem of the verb is the same in each form. It's the verb without its ar ending. To conjugate, just drop the ar from the verb stem and add the ending in bold from the verb conjugation you need in your sentence.
